Dear Iqbalians,
Thanks for taking your time and joining our AIMCAANA Retreat during APPNA Fall Meeting at Sheraton Tysons Hotel, Virginia, on Friday, October 19th, 2018. It was a fun-filled education and a fun day for the Iqbalians. Thanks to the APPNA Executive Council (including President Dr. Iqbal Zafar Hamid) and Fall Meeting Organizing Committee (including Dr. Tariq Shahab) for making it possible. We thank Prof Dr. Arif Tajammul (Principal AIMC), who flew from Pakistan to join us.
Congratulations to Dr. Ghulam Abbas for organizing an informative and educational seminar during the daytime. Around 60 Iqbalians attended the workshop. We’ll like to thank all the speakers, including Nadia Naviwala, Shafiq Khan, Dr. Rumina Sheikh, Dr. Shahid Rafiq, Prof. Dr. Arif Tajammul (Principal AIMC), and Dr. Maqsood Ahmed. The evening banquet was a hit. Thanks to our guest speakers, including Major Jason Criss Howk, on an informative talk related to Islamophobia. Around 90 Iqbalians joined. Iqbalians who have been generously contributing to different projects were recognized. The food was delicious. The performance by Malaika Faisal and Raga Boyz was beautiful.
