Assalamo-Alaikum,
As you all know our alumni association had made significant strides in the recent years towards its goal to pay back our Alma matter and embark on multiple projects to improve the education and health care conditions at Allama Iqbal Medical College. One big hurdle towards accomplishment of such goal was lack of direct supervision by the alumni to ensure smooth progress of these projects. I am pleased to announce that executive council has approve the creation of Citizens Committee in Lahore that will function as liaison between the alumni and college official and will make sure that AIMCAANA funds are used honestly towards their intended purpose.
Members of the citizens committee will be individuals with credible reputation who had ample time to engage in social work and have no personal gain from serving in the committee. Members will be chosen by nominations and personal recommendations by AIMCAANA members. Please do not hesitate to recommend someone in Pakistan who you know will be interested in volunteer social work and has time to supervise some AIMCAANA projects.
